Twelve year old Quincy Hillocks selected for Ocean Heroes Bootcamp 2019

Yeahhh!!! Twelve year old Ocean Leader, Quincy Hillocks has successfully landed a place on this year's Ocean Heroes Bootcamp. He will join fellow Ocean Leader, Imani Golden on June 28 – 30th, 2019 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Quincy has progressed through Fish 'N Fins Kids Ocean Club from turtle swim group to Reef Patroller, Junior Assistant and now an Ocean Leader. Quincy's outreach work includes assisting on hosting a sea debris Fish 'N Fins table at the Montserrat National Trust Biodiversity Exhibition 2018, and various radio outreach and promotions. Quincy aspires to be a marine biologist and we have no doubt that he will make the most of this awesome opportunity.

This year's Bootcamp focuses on single-use plastics. From understanding micro-plastic pollution to learning the ropes of digital media, Quincy will be empowered with the tools needed to beat plastic pollution. We are so proud of Quincy's efforts! BIG Congratulations hero!
